Classic Yacht John Kerr Dipping Lug

    Broker Remarks

Pili Pala. Built by world renowned boat builder John Kerr. She is remarkable resemblance to the Oland Skiff Laurent Giles designed for John. A 15ft skiff which John requested as a starter project for students who attended his wooden boatbuilding courses. Pili Pala just a meter more in length with a construction of 6 mm lap-strake marine ply, with a lightweight laminated wood keel and stem. The dagger-board and rudder, frames and thwarts are also of marine ply. This is John Kerr's own interpretation on the Laurent Giles design. Whether under sail or oars she ideal for exploring rivers and estuaries. Pack a picnic!
