The revamped Quicksilver pilothouse range is already a hit in the fishing community and the new Pilothouse 675 further bolsters this new style and design, this review takes a look at how the new boat in the range stacks up, and how the new Quicksilver 675 offers one of the most complete fishing platforms on the water.
How is it laid out?
The Quicksilver 675 has been laid out with fishing clearly in mind, for her length she offers one of the largest available fishing areas with one of the key features being the embedded folding seating into the port and aft gunwales allowing you be flexible with the layout depending on the type of fishing you are doing at the time.
Forward of this there is a large wheelhouse with sliding rear access doors and seating for everyone aboard with a v-berth towards the bow to allow for overnighting when you want to spend the evening afloat, there is walking space to both sides of the pilothouse and a forward area where you can find a sizeable anchor locker and position for fishing from the bows.
All things considered the layout if fairly typical of the industry standard in this type of design at the moment, it is the real upgrade in quality against some of its rivals which really sets the Quicksilver 675 apart from the pack.
What is it like on deck….
The cockpit of the Quicksilver 675 is one of the key features on this new boat, offering an unparalleled amount of space for its class, this is a space which has really been designed with fishing in mind from the uninterrupted floor offering space below for storing all your gear to the folding seating which fold away quickly and smartly, to the port side of the boat you can find the rod racks and deck wash shower.
