Overview
Designed by Philippe Briand the Jeanneau 49i is both powerful to sail and elegant to the eye and to sail. The huge cockpit with twin helms and all lines leading back to the cockpit inspires confidence while sailing and comfort while underway or at port/anchor.
Below the generous comfort for both owners and guests is ample with a large “U” shaped sofa and separate seating for two. The galley in liner and extends the full length of the saloon with two large fridges, cooker, grill and oven. The chart table is both large and stylish and the navigation equipment well laid out for ease of use.
The saloon is both light and airy with natural light flooding in from the many hatches and sides windows. The owners cabin version has the added benefit of an oval queen size bed in the forward cabin. All the cabins in both versions have their own separate head/shower cubicle.
The Jeanneau 49i was available in the following versions:
4 x Cabin with 4 x heads and 3 x Cabin with 2 x heads
